SIFN 2023: Salon Internationale de la Femme Noire

The Salon International de la Femme Noire in Montreal is a dynamic platform celebrating Black women’s enduring influence. It fosters self-esteem, self-improvement, and a sense of community among Black and mixed-race women. This interactive event explores their perspectives, discusses their roles throughout history and in the future, and shares information on their interests. It also provides tailored resources and support to meet their diverse cultural and socio-economic needs, promoting successful social integration. More than an event, it’s a transformative movement.

Festival International Nuits D’Afrique 2023

The International Festival Nuits d’Afrique offered a musical experience celebrating the cultures of Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America. For its 37th edition, the event featured over 150 concerts and activities.

Chaque Mois x Touch Radiance

Chaque Mois provides a retail space with a gallery-like atmosphere, allowing artists, artisans, and brands to delve into the experience of a physical and accessible retail environment

Hoodstock Montreal North: Youth Power Lunch

Hoodstock has been advocating for social justice since 2009.

The organization conceives and implements projects aimed at eradicating systemic inequalities, including social forums, artistic initiatives, summer activities, technology workshops, and more.

Additionally, Hoodstock provides vital services to the North Montreal community, such as a sexual violence prevention program and assistance sessions for learning to use tablets and laptops.

In this way, Hoodstock actively contributes to the development of supportive, inclusive, secure, and vibrant communities.

In collaboration with the Decolonial Perspectives & Practices Hub, Touch Radiance had the chance to give a workshop on entrepreneurship to the youth of the Hoodstock community.
